Solar Power Facility for the Dumagat Tribe

The Dumagattribe live at the foot of the Sierra Madre mountain ranges in Rizal. The Dumagats are one of the most impoverished in Luzon. It takes 5 to 6 hours to get to their dwelling place. Because they live very far from the lowlands, the Dumagats have not been provided any electricity by the Local Government. Last February 23, we crossed 8 rivers and trekked for 3 hours and provided the Dumagats a solar power facility.

Donations for Jacqueline have been diverted to another scholar whom we believe is more deserving of our donor's compassion. Email updates and profile of our donor's new scholar have been emailed to Jacqueline's donors.
