Mobile Library and Learning Center for the Aetas
Last January 2014, Project Malasakit called out for donations for our proposed Mobile Library Project for the Aetas of Porac Pampanga. Our target budget was 80,000 pesos. But there was such an overwhelming support that we were able to collect more than Php 100k. Majority of the funds came from the motorcycle group "The Hombres".
Kara is happy to report that the mobile library for the Aetas is finally finished and ready for use.
From Kara David : "Salamat sa inyong malasakit. Hombres. Salamat sa lahat ng tumulong. Salamat sa tiwala at biyaya ng malasakit."
In partnership with DepEd Alternative Learning System, Project Malasakit has built a mobile classroom for the Aetas. This project is inspired by the Kariton Classroom of Efren Penaflorida but powered by a motor bike.
